Project Overview
The Tree of Life TT project is a multi-layered support system for women through the intimate process of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. The project offers a variety of services including Prenatal Yoga, Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Placenta Encapsulation, each designed to support and empower women during different stages of their journey from womanhood to motherhood. The goal was to provide an online presence that can act as an informative website and also host courses and information for women.
Problem Statement
Tree of Life aimed to bridge the gap in accessible, comprehensive, and empathetic support for women during the transformative period of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. The goal was to create an online platform that could not only inform but also host courses and resources for women throughout their pregnancy journey.
Goals and Objectives
The specific goals and objectives for the project were derived from the main stakeholder, the business owner of Tree of Life. The requirements were to develop a platform with a front-facing informational website and a backend administrative panel. This panel would allow the business to log in and manage course information such as banner images, descriptions, and prices, as well as allow individuals who signed up to access the course material.
Research and Planning
The planning process involved gathering requirements directly from the main stakeholder to ensure the platform would meet the specific needs of the business and its clientele. The goal was to create a platform that was user-friendly, informative, and supportive of women during their pregnancy journey.
Design and Development Process
With a clear understanding of the requirements, the design and development process was initiated. Given my extensive experience with similar projects, the process was managed efficiently and effectively, resulting in the successful launch of the platform.
Challenges and Solutions
The project did not encounter any significant challenges, thanks to my wealth of experience with similar projects. This allowed for the smooth execution and completion of the project.
Results and Impact
The Tree of Life platform was successfully launched and performs as expected, serving as a valuable resource for women during their pregnancy journey. While exact analytics are unavailable, the platform has been a helpful resource for hundreds of women.
